The Equity Market trading marginally higher on the benchmarks, amid mixed sentiment from global equity markets. The Sensex has opened at 35,525.30, touched intraday high of 35,567.82 and touched a low of 35,479.07 in the morning trade, whereas the Nifty50 has opened at 10,816.15, touched intraday high of 10,816.80 and touched a low of 10,789.40 in the early trade. Currently market trading in the positive note, The Sensex is up 61 points or 0.17% at 35548, while the Nifty is up 17 points or 0.16% at 10804. The market breadth is healthy as about 481 shares have advanced, against a decline of 334 shares, while 68 shares were unchanged.
BSE Midcap and Smallcap index showing positive note, BSE Midcap index gained 0.25 percent, while NSE Midcap100 surged 0.3 percent and BSE small-cap index up 0.3 percent.
Pharma, Auto, FMCG, IT, Media, PSU Bank, Consumer Durables, Capital Goods and Oil & Gas shares are buying mode. Bank Nifty at 26,500 with gained 0.2 percent.
