BSE Sensex closed lower by 139.61 points, or 0.37%, to 38,018.31, while the Nifty 50 fell 43.35 points, or 0.38%, to close at 11,476.95. BSE MidCap and SmallCap fell 0.61% and 0.52%, respectively.Among the sectoral indices on BSE, telecom lost most at 2.24% followed by consumer durables, FMCG and capital goods. Metal, healthcar, auto and power gained. Yes Bank, Vedanta, Adani Ports, Wipro and Sun Pharma were among the top gainers, while Hindustan Unilever, Kotak Bank, Bharti Airtel, Titan and Reliance Industries were among the major losers.
